I know I've been away for a while but felt like playing closet. Just in case you are taking that last weekend getaway before the kiddies go back to school or you're taking a little trip with the family before you go back to college, here's a little outfit inspiration!

MILAN FASHION WEEK FALL 2015 RECAP
I love when the fashion week seasons rolls around. First New York Fashion Week kicks off and
then the rest follow, London, Milan, and probably my favorite.. Paris Fashion
Week. I love New York in fact it is time
for a trip back but I just wasn’t feeling it as much this time. Don’t get me wrong. There are great designers and some great
collections but I didn't get the excitement from most of them as I have for
some other seasons. That goes for London
as well, but what was more interesting to me this fashion season(showing Fall
2015 collections) was Milan Fashion Week.
I am usually not the biggest fan of their fashion weeks but this time I
became a new fan. So let’s skip New York
and London for now(but with the best of love still) and share some of my favorites of Milan Fashion Week.
First off, can I just say Versace, Versace, Versace. For the last 2 or 3 seasons I haven't been too fond of the collections but let me just say that my faith has been renewed with this 2015 Fall collection. The brand has always been known for artful and glamorous designs and I think the brand went back to its roots compared to what I have seen in the past seasons. My favorite things about this collection are the colors, the sunnies, and the logo infused pieces.
I'm a sucker for black and white and Emilio Pucci had just wanted I liked. Whether pop art was the inspiration for these prints or not that's what I see when I look at these pieces... Modern pop art. I love these ensembles from head to toe.
I love a good knit especially in beautiful prints like these from Laura Biagiotti. Even though they are in the neutral area of color I can't help but love the designs and prints and the overall shape of these pieces. Over-sized,comfy, and warm is quite alright in my book of fashion!
Until Paris Fashion Week is over stay tuned for more shemeansstyle news and happenings.
XOXO

ON THE FLIP SIDE
Well there is always a new fashion or beauty trend out there
and some I can get with but some I can’t.
The latest that I have seen is the Flip Manicure. Maybe it’s the latest
for me since I don’t get my nails done often but I would say from what I have
been reading it is catching on. I like
innovation but I’m not quite sure about this one. On one hand(no pun intended)
I like the idea but on the other, I keep asking myself is there really a point?
I mean who is really going to know you have a nail design on the bottom side of
your nail unless you are shaking hands with someone which not too many people
do these days. Meeting people over
social media seems to be the norm these days but that is neither here nor
there.
Back to the flip manicure though, it’s kind of cool but I don’t know if I will try it out and that is mostly because I have only gotten my nails done less than a half of dozen times in my life. I know, may seem sad to some but I’m just not that high maintenance. Still on the fence about whether this is something I will try or not but you never know...
